PROGRAMS
RECREATIONAL

Recreational rhythmic is appropriate for either beginners or athletes who are
interested in a non competitive environment. The recreational Rhythmic program
is focused on the learning and the fun, with the eventual goal of performing
ensemble routines. Gymnasts are guided through stretching, ballet, dance, and
rhythmic gymnastics body techniques incorporating the use of rhythmic gymnastics
ropes, hoops, clubs, balls, and ribbons in harmony with the music. This program
is designed to develop fundamental body movements, basic coordination,
concentration, and rhythm. We offer three different classes in this
program.
Tiny Talents - an exclusive class for
toddlers.
Beginner RhythmiX - an introductory class for
girls from 5-8 years old.
Intermediate RhythmiX - for those students who
master the introductory and basic skills.
COMPETITIVE

Girls are tested for flexibility, balances, turns, leaps and jumps, grace and
coordination in order to gain a spot in this program. Athletes in this program
train between 3-9 hours per week. The classes are structured so that the girls
learn basic to complex rhythmic gymnastics body technique, fundamental apparatus
technique, dance preparation, and choreography of age appropriate routines. The
eventual goal for a participant in this program is to compete at 2-3 local
competitions during season. One to two ballet classes per week are required at
this level.
