WELCOME TO CLUBRITMICA
Rhythmic gymnastics is one of the most creative sports in the world. It
uses the colorful elegance of the ribbon, the swinging circles of the clubs, the
height of the tossed hoop, the tug of a taut rope
and the group passes of the
ball to propel their way to the top of the medal stand. The skills of the
gymnast with rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon often challenges imagination.
This sport is popular around the world with more than 50 nations participating
in the annual Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships. In 1984 individual
rhythmic gymnastics was added to the Olympic program and team
competition at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
